I joined this wonderful community YEARS ago....but never really engaged. SOooo I wanna say - HEY!! I'M BACK! :) My name is Meg. I'm a producer and creator living in Atlanta.
I started as an actor and moved into producing and writing to get seen. Now, my favorite word is: multi-hyphenate. I have worked in production for a major television company, a manager at a top mgmt company and produced films with A listers around the world. My path has taken me from Michigan to NYC to L.A. to Atlanta. I'm also a mom of 2 little ones, navigating the work-from-home life balance with the rigorous hustle of the entertainment industry. I would LOVE to connect with this supportive community! Find me here: www.megmessmer.com and instagram.com/megmessmer

Hello Meg! Oh yes multi-hyphenate is such a beautiful word :) Was perusing your website and what I like about it is the fun, down to earth, yet driven energy you exude!

Welcome Meg! hope all is well. What kind of genres do you focus on?
Thank you all! I don't have a specific genre but I like to focus on mission based stories that move the needle and change perspectives. Although, recently, I've been working in the thriller space. ;)

Awesome stuff, Meg! Happy to link up with you. How's Atlanta been with the productions?
Welcome!

congrats. I suggest ALL actors do the same. I used to be embarrassed about "producing" my own work until i won 24 awards.

Hey, Meg Messmer! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage32. Nice to meet you and welcome back! What are you working on? Anything we can help you with? What collaborators are you looking to connect with?
Oh, man, I'd LOVE for you to start a post in the Acting Lounge about your experience doing commercial work: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting Dude - I feel ya about working from home with the rigors of the industry.
Ooo, Atlanta? What finally made you decide to move there? Would you be interested in participating in the "Paris, Je T'aime" challenge I posted in the Filmmakers Lounge? It's just a fun way to get to know people through their city:
