Hi, all!
My name is Jerrod, and I'm a writer and director from Denver, Colorado. I hope you've all been able to keep busy with projects during this very strange time, and if you work in production and have been unable to work, I hope things turn around for you very soon!
My post is a little different this time around. I sincerely wish you the best in your projects, but more than that, I hope you have been able to spend some time with yourself, and your loved ones, while navigating this strange new world. I know that this time has helped me to re-evaluate a lot of things. It changed, not only my art but also my priorities. I stand by movements that support people of color, equal rights, and hope that a divided nation will come back together. I think it's important that our art depicts such struggles in an effort for change. That said, stay strong, and let's make the most of what we have control over as we close out the weirdest year ever!
I'm currently finishing up a short script commission, writing a short horror fan film I'm hoping to get produced in 2021, working on the 4th draft of a feature I co-wrote, and getting impatient about starting my first book. What are you working on? And how has your process changed over the past six months?
