I've been part of Stage 32 for a while, and writing keeps me in a bunker so I haven't always been very active until recently. I find an exciting mix of talent and experience here--just wanted to share my journey.
A mix of hits and misses. I earned my Actors Equity union card when I was very young, and did some theatre in the L.A. area. Had a two-act comedy produced on Melrose Ave. Was ready to get signed on in a writers room by a producer, but life got upended. Now, I live in Reno, and write every day. I did a stint as a radio disc-jockey for seven years, and enjoyed that greatly. Currently, through Stage 32, I've met with a family film producer on the phone who wants to be part of the production team of my script The Piano Gospel. Also, a team member of a well-known horror producer is giving a second read to my horror/thriller script, Violent Green. Lastly, an agent is ready to take on my 300 page memoir, Cripple, where I detail growing up with a handicap... and of my late father's place in one of the worst political dramas of our country. It's a busy, exciting time. But y'all know how it runs, right?
I'd be happy to read any work or give notes on scripts. I only ask that the writer wants real feedback and not a back slap.

Dude, I totally get that bunker feeling! Glad we can break you out of your cave! Don't forget to add your "occupation" to your profile, which can be multiple roles. Be sure to choose the roles you want people to approach you about (so, if you're done with acting, for example, no need to include it).
