Acting : Chicago Acting Scene? by Derek Crowe

Hello everyone, I currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area. I like it here but I am looking to relocate to get closer to family and Chicago is one of the spots on the list. I would like to know more about that market and how big the film industry is there. I know about Chicago Fire and PD, but how is the indie film scene? Commercials? Etc. thanks for your responses.
