Assistance required adapting part of my story into a screenplay

Hey, guys.

I don't normally do this, considering I can work my way around a story pretty damn well, but in this case, I have no choice but to make an exception. Allow me to explain my dilemma.

Over the past 12+ years, I've recently finished what I consider to be my magnum opus - a novel called "Icon of the Defender" - my 4th story and my only surviving novel (the others were wiped out thanks to a computer virus a decade ago, during my college years, when I was young, angry and stupid). The novel is in 3 parts, so it made sense to divide it into 3 screenplays - Part 1 is a self-contained story, while Parts 2 and 3 are a sequel split in half, as with most trilogies (OG Star Wars, Back to the Future, The Matrix, etc.). Adapting Parts 2 and 3 into script form was easy enough, but there's something about Part 1 which I can't really perfect or pinpoint - it's difficult for me to get it below 120 pages, considering it's the most story-heavy part of the novel (Part 2 is more action-driven while Part 3 is deliberately written at a slower pace). If anyone would like to assist me in crafting a gem out of this diamond in the rough, then I would be most appreciative and would gladly share credits. Please send me a message if you are interested and I will get back to you with the necessary provisions and guidelines.

Yours truly,

Stefano Pavone.

Hi Stefano, I'm sure you'll be inundated with offers of help from this caring group of creatives. But, if all else fails, perhaps I can give some input.

Yes. What Patricia said.
