Introduction: We're Ruff And Tuff Recordings, a unique music label in DC.US that makes unique music for film!

Hello everyone,

My name is Moe and I represent a Washington, DC based music label that produces original EDM, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop, and Reggae music with a focus on cinematic themes. We are looking to meet creatives on here that can help us to join their stirring visuals with our music in different ways.

We would also be quite interested in a partner for music video visuals.

We have always had a focus on creating music based on cinematic themes, I, as well as our artists have been involved in music for film for some time now. We'd greatly appreciate you connecting with us here and on social media. We publish music to most major digital retailers, and we can create custom music based on your film project. We are also very interested in partnerships.

Our primary web location is http://www.ruffandtuffrecordings.com

Our latest music release, by one of our artists [SoopaDaark] debut's on digital retailers this Saturday:

SoopaDaark returns with a ripping tribute to martial arts culture with TIGER STYLE. It's fury in the form of a searing dancefloor DNB track. Heavy basslines and complex drum edits, melodic, and deep sound, it firmly reps the sound that SoopaDaark represents.

Hey RuffAndTuff, this is Karen from the Stage 32 team. I just wanted to let you know I moved your post from Anything Goes to Introduce Yourself (since you talk about who you'd like to meet), as it fits much better there. Let me know if you have any questions and all the best to you!

Karen "Kay" Ross

Hey, Moe Brodie! I'm not sure if I've officially introduced myself. My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you! SUPER excited to see this tribute to martial arts! With all of these great links, you can either post them to your profile or post them in the Your Stage Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/promotion) for feedback or promotion.

I'm sure you've already discovered the Composing Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/composing), but I'd love for you to start a post in the Post-Production Lounge as well: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/post_production Maybe you could discuss the importance of music editing in post?

I wasn't sure if you noticed this post in the Composing Lounge about a request to form a "storytelling collective" that I thought you might dig: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/composing/Composers-Wanted-Audio-Storytel...

Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect!
