Good day everyone I have been a part of the community for a while and thought it prudent to introduce myself and my company; especially with AFM approaching, to gauge if any members of the community are attending.
My name is Christopher Din Chong and I’m a Writer, Producer, Director from Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean . My Production company 3 Line Studios has completed three feature length projects; a supernatural thriller, crime thriller and drama. My sister organization The Forward Ever Foundation (FEF) trains ‘at risk’ youth in all aspects of film production.
Apart from a number of tv and film productions in development 3 Line Studios/FEF have partnered with the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) to provide distribution services as well as technical support for filming in the Caribbean and navigating the region’s tax incentives e.g. Trinidad and Tobago’s 55% cash rebate and 150% tax allowance. The Caribbean also offers the most producer friendly atmosphere during these trying Covid-19 times.
I am humbled to be a part of this community and I look forward to seeing some of you at AFM. This is my first year attending so any advice or feedback would be appreciated.
