I haven't been on this platform in some time and thought I'd introduce myself! My name is Ricardo Bouyett and I'm a filmmaker, photographer, and writer from the suburbs of Chicago. Over the last few years, I've directed independently produced a handful of short films and have written two books of poetry. Most of my work is inspired by my recovery from sexual trauma and the lessons I've learned while navigating the intersections of my identity. With my films, I delve into the human psyche to inspire introspection, understanding, and healing.
I've been looking to work with new collaborators as well as make some new like-minded artist friends. I'm currently working on some new writing and am looking forward to releasing some new work. I'd be happy to connect!
