Hi all. Great to be part of the Stage 32 Community. Aside from my main career in music creation and supervision, I've written a Sci-Fi musical that I'm hoping to get made into a film. Just scratching the surface now but I attended a Screenplay Webinar hosted by Sophie Azran yesterday and managed to gleam some very useful tips.
Hey, Steve Spiro! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. Nice to meet you and welcome to the community! Sweet, congrats on your successful music career and transition into writing! I take it you've written your SciFi Musical for your love of SciFi and Musicals? What would your top three of each be? Any that have inspired you?
You've definitely come to the right place if you are looking for tips on screenwriting! Did you attend our recent webinar about nailing your script's structure? I think you'd really dig it and you'd have access to it for a year! https://www.stage32.com/webinars/Outline-Your-Screenplay-and-Nail-Your-S... I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but I'd LOVE for you to post in the Composing Lounge and maybe stick around to comment on others' as well! https://www.stage32.com/lounge/composing
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time.
Hi @Steve and welcome, is that Eastbourne pier photo? Looks familiar cos I used to do seven sisters walk. Will check out your Soho branch if need any future film scores.
Hi Debbie. Good to meet you. It's actually Brighton pier but I have done the Seven Sisters walk on many occasion. Let me know if you are on the hunt for something special for future film music scores. Happy to throw my hat into the ring with some worthy suggestions.
