Hello, Stage 32 friends! My name is Mike Hultquist and I am a screenwriter who enjoys collaborating. My produced credits include a low budget horror filmed called "Victim" with Stephen Weigand and Bob Bancroft, "Arena" with Samuel Jackson and Kellan Lutz, and "12 Feet Deep" with Nora-Jane Noone, Alexandra Park, Diane Farr. I've optioned material and signed to write material as well.
Here is me on IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2478416/
I'm happy to connect with industry professionals and would love to work with a manager and/or agent to produce new material and get more work out there. Feel free to connect! If you know of any one looking for productive writers, I'd love to hear from you.
When I am not writing screenplays, I write full time for my spicy food blog at www.chilipeppermadness.com. I'm an obsessed chilihead!
Good luck with all of your creative endeavors.

It is great to meet you. Congratulations on having your work produced. It is inspirational to hear about those who get their work in the hands of producers. I have completed scripts for 3 feature films and 2 TV pilots and am also looking for a manager or studio to produce them! Any tips on how you moved your scripts to the big screen? You will love networking with our fellow writers in Stage 32 Writer's Room that is bursting with talented people who are super helpful.

Thanks, everyone. Ricki, I sent out a slew of material to a bunch of managers and wound up getting repped with my first script, "Victim". Did a bunch of scripts for them, though that settled down after a while. It can be hard getting material out there without management or an agent, so I'm hoping to make new connections here and utilize some of the services. I'd love to hear about your experience in the Writer's Room.

Nice to meet you Michael. Cool blog and interesting niche for your personal brand. Do you do podcasts and videos as well? That might build your brand and get you more notice. What are you writing now? Do you have a specific genre? Is it related to your blog and brand?
I'm a novelist, poet, blogger, and screenwriter. Like you, I love to write as much as I can. Smiles!
