I think I've done this before, so here goes for the newcomers. I've been an anti-drug activists for most of my life. In the 70s I lived in the streets of NYC, hung out in Shooting Galleries, busted up drug deals, mugged muggers, stopped 10 rapes, been shot at, stabbed, sliced, hit with just about anything you can imagine, and never lost a fight in the streets. When the Guardian Angels took to the streets in 79, I decided to give up my reign of the streets. From there I went in to the crazy sport of professional kickboxing. By 83 I was one of the top ten fighters in the world and held that honor for 11 years. (Check out the Brawl at the Taj Mahal on Youtube) When I was speaking at an anti drug rally, telling stories of my life, one of the organizers remarked afterward, "You have to write a novel." So I did, then came the screenplays of which I now have 11 completed. In 2005 I was pitching in Hollywood. MG from Leverage asked me if he could pitch HBO for me. I took that as a rhetorical question and just smiled. We met a few more times that summer and it was almost a certain GO. I called my Mom to tell her the good news; before I could, she told me that the Old Man was in real bad shape. I shut everything down and a little more than a year later, he died. After that, I took care of my greatest inspiration: my Mom, for 12 years. She has since passed on herself, so here I am, an orphan, once again trying to get a movie made.
Welcome!
