Just upgraded my Final Draft - Quick Question on the Side Menu

So in FD there is a quick handy sidebar listing things as scene heading, character, Dialogue, etc., - what happened was, I accidentally clicked out of it and now I don't know how to get that handy little menu/toolbar to get it to return to the right side of the script. Any pointers would be great!

Thanks and have a great weekend :)

You're doomed. Now you have to uninstall and buy Final Draft again.

Just kidding. iirc, Tools > Customize > Toolbars

Thanks a lot :)

Still not working, anyone else?

Brian Largo

Well, you sure took your time to test it!

Can you upload an image to see how things are in your FD? In mine, this toolbar is at the top.

Glen. I use FD 9 but unless FD changed this should work.

Everything you need to do will be on the View Drop-down list.

Open your screenplay. On the very top click on the [View] tab.

.

On the drop-down list click on [Split Vertically] tab.

Click on [Index Cards-Script] tab.

You can have the Index Cards appear on the left or right by clicking on the [Swap Panels] tab.

When you want to leave this tool click on [Script – Normal View] or [Script-Page View] tab which ever you prefer.
