Top 5 Casting Websites?

On one of my FB groups, I saw this post, and I thought I'd ask y'all's two cents:

"HERE'S THE FOLLOWING CASTING WEBSITES CALIFORNIA ACCESS CASTING GROUP HIGHLY RECOMMENDS: 1.) Hollywood Casting & Film. 2.) Auditonsfree.com 3.) Casting Frontier. 4.) IMBD Pro. 5.) Actors Access. THE WORST CASTING WEBSITES: 1.) Backstage. 2.) Mandy. 3.) All Casting. 4.) Upcast. 5.) 9 Nine- The Unagency."

Besides the fact that Stage32 is not on that list, what are YOUR top 5 casting websites?

Christiane Lange

In Europe, Encast seems to be quite big.

Cameron Le Roy

In Canada, agents ask that you be set up on Actors Access and Casting Workbook

Lydia Kalmen

For NYC Casting Networks, Actors Access, and Backstage are the 3 main ones everyone suggests. And Playbill.com and the Equity site (for AEA members) are the main ones for theatre. IMDB Pro is great too.

Steve James

Does 'Best' mean that people are getting booked for roles via these sites?

Stephen Foster

I would add Stage 32 to the BEST casting website. I tell actors to come here first and connect with filmmakers! It changed my career!

Cameron Le Roy

Steve James, for us yes. From television to feature films..... top productions to student films, these sites are where it's at. Agents will see more castings than the actor so it's better to have representation. Some big productions choose to keep a low profile during casting so auditions are not made accessible to the general public and kept between casting directors and agents only.
