I am so happy to still be with Stage32, learning and growing in my work and life. Reading through these introductions, I am excited that more and more people are joining this platform; it is truly one of a kind and I am grateful that it came into my life however many years ago.
As a writer, singer, actor and director I am interested in merging stories on screen that are often separated in real life and onstage. An example is putting the story of a grip with that of an opera singer or bringing the work of a craftsperson together with a composer. I know there are stories about these worlds in the arts coming together but I don't think it is done enough. Ultimately, my goals are to help encourage the elevation of the artist's story of being actual Workers/Laborers in our society-- storytellers are keepers of stories and builders of dreams. (I know, I'm sappy).
Another goal of mine is to work with more people reading scripts that they would like to hear out loud. It would be wonderful to have scheduled readings for writers from Stag32 who would like to have table reads while they/we work on the next draft-- hear the characters out loud.
