Hey all. Just stopping by to introduce myself. My government name is what you see on my profile.I pretty much use it for all my creative work in order to honor my father and grandfather who both carried the name before me.
Friends and family call me Jay. Whichever is fine. Unless you're a telemarketer. In which case, I respond to neither.
Just want to say I'm cheering for you all in your respective endeavors. If I can offer help in regard to screenwriting or storytelling, I will try my best to do so. I believe that we are only as strong as the community around us.
Look forward to meeting you. Or cyber-meeting. Whichever term is more appropriate. Not really sure how that goes.
Have a great one.
Jay

Hey, Julio Toro! My name is Kay, I'm the Community Manager here at Stage 32. If you'd like to learn more about myself and the Stage32 Team, we have an intro blog: https://www.stage32.com/blog/Meet-the-Stage-32-Team Nice to meet you and welcome to the community!
Thanks so much for that dose of whimsy and positivity - I love it! We're cheering for you, too! Lots of our screenwriting members offer to do script exchanges for peer review - just post on the Screenwriting Lounge to gauge interest: https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting You can also post your logline and/or synopsis for feedback and offer feedback on others' loglines: https://www.stage32.com/loglines
Other than the Screenwriting Lounge, definitely reach out on the Acting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting) for insight into characters, dialogue, and even when you want to generate interest in a virtual table read!
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:
https://www.stage32.com/blog/Find-Your-Community-on-Stage-32
Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!

Hey Karen. Thanks so much for reaching out. I’m going to go through what you sent and familiarize myself with everything. I will definitely be in touch. Glad you enjoyed the post. My kids remind me every day how important it is to laugh. Best to you Jay
