Doorways are memory portals. Many times when I decide I must go into another room for some reason, the moment I pass through the doorway I forget why I entered that room in the first place.
If I want to try and write an idea. I write a few sentences. Then I go back and reread them every few weeks.
The ones that stick in my mind are good ones.
I have 5 stories at the moment that will not let me forget them.
