Hey guys! I'm here to learn about structure too! I know we have to work on pitching our own pilot next week so I thought I would throw in my two pilots that I am developing. My background is chemical engineering.
Title: Dark Science
Logline: After fully embracing spirituality to heal from a chemical accident killing her boyfriend, a former chemical engineer uncovers a secret occult library connecting her new found faith to her dramatic past. Throughout the first season, she must face her past head on in order to embrace her destiny and save the planet from further destruction.
Title: Mayflower Descendants
Logline: When a troubled writer finds out about an invisible elitist family line dominating American business and politics, she teams up with a newly found descendant to expose the family line to the world.
Anyways, I was a producer/actress but my background is science. I am taking a stab at writing to help uncover the truth about a lot of my research. Dark Science is based on my life. Let me know what you guys think!
