I didn't win Final Draft Big Break but I was one of the Top 3 finalists in my category (there are 11 categories and they received nearly 13,000 submissions). I love it because it's a clear case of not winning but not really losing either, not when you're part of a group of 33 screenwriters who stood out among such a large number. I love it because it doesn't mean it's over, it means it's only beginning.
Keep writing.

That's something to build off of, Boris, no question. To help you on your journey and inspire you to take the next step, I'd love to offer you a free month of the Stage 32 Writers' Room. This is where hundreds of writers meet every week to discuss the craft and learn from industry execs who work directly with Stage 32. Our Director of Development Services, Jason Mirch, runs the show. Reach out to him at J.Mirch@stage32.com and let him know I sent you over. He'll hook you up. Keep charging, my friend.

Congratulations, Boris!! I'm excited for you. I've just submitted to 6, or so, screenplay competitions and am praying my screenplay is at least accepted and not rejected. Keep going!! It will be worth it!
