Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is where I should post this, but could not find another lounge that seemed appropriate. I was curious about other members' experiences with meeting requests after a pitch session. I've had 4 people request meetings, but have actually only had one. Two never responded to the introduction email from Stage 32, and one did respond to the email, but nothing further after asking what stage the project was at? Is this the norm? Thanks for your feedback, and congrats on your successes!

Catherine Fridey Congrats on the requests. How long has it been since Stage 32 emailed the producers? You can always follow up yourself via email or phone call after you research them on IMDB and find their contact info or you can wait it out, I do not think there is a set standard. I have had a handful of requests on this platform too and the length of time is different for different producers. The first one took 6 weeks to connect with me and some of the others we did video conferencing and they said we will talk next week and it has been 4 weeks. If they ask for materials I believe the usual time frame after they receive the materials is 12 weeks or more but I usually follow up with an email after 4 weeks just checking in type. Most all producers on this platform have an IMDb page, LinkedIn profile, and /or a website with contact info or of course, you can email Jason, Nick, or Angela and ask for them to either forward the contact info or send another email and they may respond with how they deal with it possible no shows. Out of curiosity what are you pitching and are the producers who request asking for a script or just a phone call or exactly what?
