This is a great piece with so many roads to go down. What is the general wisdom on following up a query if you've heard nothing back?
Donna Hoke I've written the ol' standard query letter in the past and got no representation. I'm going to try this new method. Maybe we can let each other know how it goes.
Cynthia Garbutt It doesn't seem like a new method, per se, but it doesn't give me some new resources. I don't have two screenplays, but I have one plus a bunch of plays and lit managers keep telling me that plays are enough to get someone repped.

Yeah, I know it's not new for us ol' timers. But, we have new writers on here all the time, though. I like the sample letters. They're very different from what I'd been sending out.
They are exactly what I've been sending out lol, but it's hard to get someone to read the letter, let alone request the play. Diligence!
