This was the 22nd year for my students to create movies that explore social issues. The pandemic presented obstacles, which they overcame. At the bottom of this post is a link to three of the movies. The Bond is the best. All totaled we have created 65 movies and won five national awards. My screenplay Out of the Ditch was recently selected by New York International Screenplay Awards. It's made the finals in several festivals and contests but no check, yet. I'm working on a story about a chance meeting between a wealthy New Orleans lady, who has been jilted by her husband, and a bag lady running from her past.

Wow, congrats on your success with the NYISA! Have you entered your screenplay into Stage 32's Drama Screenplay Contest? Or at least by the title, it sounds like a drama: https://www.stage32.com/happy-writers/contests/1st-Annual-Television-Dra...
I’m sure you’ve already discovered the Screenwriting Lounge (https://www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting), but I'd LOVE for you to post in the Acting Lounge as well! https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting
Keep in mind that these lounges are like the VIP Filmmaker's Lounges at Film Festivals, so this is where you can meet the people doing the work, get advice on anything you're working on, and/or give back to those who may need advice. We're a very supportive and encouraging community! I think you'd also enjoy my intro blog post on how to engage with the Stage32 Community:

Enjoy exploring the lounges, and don't forget to comment and respond to others’ posts, too! It's the best way to really connect! And, of course, feel free to reach out at any time. Cheers!
