Hey Everyone!
Thought I'd say hi here since we didn't get a chance to introduce ourselves on the zoom class. I'm excited about this class- it's really heavy with information and it feels like we'll really be getting into the weeds of different topics, which I love.
I've been an actor since 1999 (guest starred on 25 or 30 TV shows), and got back into producing five or six years ago. I made an indie political satire based on a play I was in called Loners, which was released a couple years ago. It was sort of like producing film school for me, and a great experience. You can find it on IMDBtv, Tubi, and rent it at all the usual rental spots.
Here's what I've got on my slate at the moment:
-A feature inspired by the true story of a teacher, but mixes up the teacher genre with comedy and magical realism. (I have a meeting with a big production company for this today!)
- Most likely a limited series based on a book I just optioned about my great-grandfather, who broke up the first Nazi spy ring in America when he was in the FBI).
-A feature that’s a dark comedy.
- A feature that’s an elevated ghost story.
I live in L.A., have an awesome five year old girl and a great wife who has a very stable job in education. :)
