Just Booked Lead roles in 2 new projects: A Sci Fi Pilot titled "Time Girl" & a film titled " Aliens Attack Tombstone" a Sci-Fi Western with Wyatt Earp etc.
Hey, Johnnie Johnson III! That's excellent news! Interesting that they were both SciFi - was it something you were aiming for? I remember how Will Smith mentioned he looked for opportunities with action and SciFi films early in his career to boost his exposure/status. I'd love for you to share your insight in the Acting Lounge, and I know our members would love to learn from your experience! https://www.stage32.com/lounge/acting
Hi Karen, thank you very much. Actually, I never set out to do SciFi, it just happened. But I have always loved roles filled with action and thrills. My dream was to play James Bond. Now I would be happy just playing different versions of that iconic character as well as real life dramatic roles such as the series "This is Us". My resume, does list a number of action roles. They seem to come natural to me. Would love to do some Rom- Com's in the near future as well. I like to keep my options open, try new things. I find that the more I experience in everyday life tends to help me adapt myself to different roles. So my advice would be to experience as much of life as you can. It gives you more to draw from when preparing for work. I'm a Method actor, so I draw on my real life experiences to bring my roles to life.
