Lane of No Retrun Screenplay

So guys I have submitted two pitches this morning for my very first script. I was wondering once whomever I submitted my pitch to, what would be the next steps after they have read it? What should I expect?

Jason Mirch

Congratulations on submitting your pitches, Rip! You're taking the first step in a very long but exciting process in the business. Once you have submitted your pitches - and the pitch date rolls around - if it is a live pitch be sure to be in front of your computer or phone for the call with the executive. If it is a written pitch, sit back and relax, the executive is going to read the written pitch.

In both cases he or she will return feedback on your pitch in the following weeks. You will know from them what is working in your pitch and what they feel you could develop further in the pitch or project. So you should expect comments that are constructive, actionable and supportive.

If they decide they would like to read the script, you will get an email from Stage 32 that will ask you to upload the script to our system. The executive will read that script over the coming months and give you feedback on the project as well.

Many of our pitch sessions have resulted in great professional collaborations between Stage 32 writers and industry professionals. Check out our success stories here: https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories
