Hello Stage 32 Producers Lounge! Today I have a #femalefilmmakerfriday video interview for you from Karen Covell. She was gracious enough to film an interview for us while on set for production. The questions she answered are:
1. How did you pivot producing in the pandemic?
2. What advice do you have for producers and content creators going forward in a post-pandemic world?
3. Just for fun - if you could have any comfort food to get you through the tough production days, what would it be?
Thank you SO much Karen for your time and generosity in the interview!
p.s. If you would like to do a video interview for the Stage 32 Producers lounge, #femalefilmmakerfriday - please DM me!

Karen "Kay" Ross ...that slate clap, is like music! Thank you for watching. Suzanne, thank you. This has been a fun series to put together. I want to show, that people are working - it's not studio level, though good content is being produced!

I've had the privilege of meeting both Karen and her composer husband. They are amazing people, encouraging and supporting independent filmmakers at every opportunity they can. Our world certainly needs more others-oriented filmmakers like them.

Great interview! She seems like a "real" person and very supportive of young people. I was, actually, left wanting more from her. Good job!
