August 8, 2021 ED HELD SHO MEDIA ~ HOW TO MAKE A THRILLER FRESH AGAIN WITH FIRE AND GUNS!

Oscar nominee director Taylor Sheridan renews the “thriller” genre with intense action, blazing backdrops of devastating burning trees, and a lonely firefighter tower employee in peril! Oscar winner Angelina Jole plays the isolated worker with strong detailed strategies in Those Who Wish Me Dead (Warner Bros. Blu-ray + Digital code). Stationed in a lonely fire look-out tower in the heart of Montana's gorgeous wilderness, is the guilt-ridden Hannah Faber (Jole). She struggles with culpability and the audience will soon discover the truth about her activities. The character Jole portrays (with brilliance) is the smoke-jumper whose been reeling from the loss of 3 young lives she failed to save from a fire. Sheridan’s direction picks up fast intensity when Hannah discovers a bloodied and traumatized 12-year-old boy named Conor (Finn Little), escaping and running away from his dad’s car who was just assassinated! Hannah rescues the boy and they must cross miles of thick forest as gunmen start their hunt. She uses her skills to outwit the two killers as they dash for safety. However, she is challenged when a massive fiery blaze heads straight for them. A perfect cast delivers all the excitement needed to succeed in the film and, interesting too, seeing Nicholas Hoult as one of “The Bad Guys” too. R. 7 out of 10 STARS. ________
