Haiti is a beautiful island part of Hispaniola in the Caribbean. Although there have been many unfortunate situations, there are beautiful things that can be shown from literature, art, poetry, films, documentaries. Awareness of all of these amazing stories and using different platforms to show these. We need more positive images to show how beautiful Haiti is.
I couldn't agree more! Personally, I have never been to Haiti, but I spent a lot of time in Puerto Rico, and there is so much the mainland U.S. does not know about any of the cultures within the Caribbean. Is there a film commission or another website for location scouting for Haiti?
