I often share this formula - (which is NOT mine, but another member here and the world needs to know I constantly forget who he is but it's a great formula) - that is an ideal jumping off point:
When [INCITING INCIDENT OCCURS], a [SPECIFIC PROTAGONIST] must [OBJECTIVE], or else [STAKES].
(When a struggling writer runs to the store to get groceries, he is confronted by a dragon who he must defeat or starve to death.)
What are the stakes?
They must get the ideas from its creator.
The stakes should be clear in the logline.
