Introduce Yourself : Hello from Sydney by Alexander Harrod

Hi all, my name's Alex and it's very nice to be here.

I come from a small town called Yass [only 2 x 's' is the official spelling] in country New South Wales. Which is in Australia.

A former rugby career and now film have been a pretty good way to travel and see where you're all from. After stints living in England and the Netherlands I'm now by Bondi Beach in Sydney.

I'm a former DOP turned editor/director with a couple of awards so far. Some of them are here: alexanderharrod.com/showreel

I'm also looking for my next country to move to in 2022 - when less people are getting sick here and our Australians that aren't on the tele are safe to be sent to you all again.

Joining Stage 32 to learn more about film and meet good people to get a beer with while travelling.

[I also used to go to primary school with the mayor's son, then in 2019 in Amsterdam I very weirdly bumped in to him in on a 20 person boat at Koningsdag. So there's a few of us cutting around.]
