Screenwriting : Clubhouse by Steven M. Cross

Clubhouse

I live in small-town Missouri and it is difficult to connect with other screenwriters. I have considered investigating Clubhouse. Can anyone offer insight on it? I am okay with technology, but not a whiz.

CH is basically radio. Live audio podcasts they call, “Rooms.” Just subscribe to app and listen/enter rooms. You can also participate/speak to everyone in the room. Sometimes, I have CH on background when I am exercising or driving.

Strangely, the CH hype has died since they launched this year; now available for iphone & android users.

CH is a amazing space to connect and build. Look for rooms that will make sense and informative. You'll find a lot of "know-it-alls", but lets be honest if they really did then they wouldn't be preaching on CH all day long jumping from one room to another. If you find good clubs and amazing circle, then it gets addictive, which is again not a good sign. What works for me is I mark specific events that I wish to attend on weekdays, not more than an hour, while I dedicatedly run a late night room on Weekend for 2 hours.

There are few rooms which you can find active most of the times educate new users about Clubhouse, do check them out. Cheers
