I completed my first draft of my feature length script a few months ago. Before I start re-writes, I feel that a table read would help tremendously - esp. to tighten dialogue. Any suggestions or recommendations on how to schedule a table read for scenes that I feel could benefit from "hearing" the lines from seasoned actors? I am looking for 3-4 actors to "act" while I record the lines. Please advise.
Thank you in advance!

Contact the drama department at a local high school or community college, or also perhaps a local community theater group. It might have to be a virtual table read over Zoom, but that could be good as you can record the whole thing. Won't be professional actors, but unless you're willing to pay that's probably your only option.
