Producing : Is a Twins reboot 30 years later a good thing or a bad thing? by Cherelynn Baker

Is a Twins reboot 30 years later a good thing or a bad thing?

See it as a stepping stone opportunity! I read the trades and at first thought when I read this it made me sad. Wow - another reboot from 30 years ago?

BUT!

What if this is about the chance that something from 30 years ago still generates interest and has an opportunity to get made?

It makes jobs for the below the line crew, which is a good thing.

The first story was funny and the second has the chance to be funny and get people laughing in these strange days.

Quote from article:

Reitman said Boston looks like the perfect venue: “We need the winter and my guess is we probably shoot in Boston. It looks great and has mountains nearby, and has a good tax deal. We’re dealing with this as an independent, and we want to keep the costs low. It worked out very well for us in Twins, I see no reason not to do that here.”

What do you think? Is a Twins reboot 30 years later a good thing or a bad thing?

This sounds like fun! I loved the first movie and I like this premise. I'd go see it.
