Recent Scripts

What scripts have wowed you recently?

I'm looking to read some scripts, preferably produced scripts.

I don't mind reading unproduced scripts or user's scripts too but I might struggle for time to give quality feedback if that is what you're seeking.

Not after a particular genre. I just want a smooth, pleasant read as I seem to be finding more time to read than I do to watch stuff lately.

Thank you. have a good day :-)

Chris Pappas

If you can pay me 40$ i can send you one

Adam Harper

No way am I paying you $40 for a script. Here, take $60!

Rutger Oosterhoff

For Pro scripts, I liked "Interview with the Vampire" . Easily to ne found online.

Also a script I created with Horror Writer/producer Robert Arthur Jansen and Jerel Damon, about female twin vigilantes reads smooth and fast. No real feedback needed. Just PM me what email I can send it to.

Jessica B

The script for Minari wowed me recently!

Read all the nominated 2020 Black list best unproduced scripts, know the names of the writers and reps on the list. They are your future peers & partners- if you want to write corporate funded movies for a living.

“Headhunter” is a great read. The writer, imo, executed voice-over perfectly on the page; a world of fashion and cannibalizism

Adam Harper

Thanks Rutger, I'll drop you a message

Good shout Jessica, I've downloaded the script. Sounds like my kind of story :-)

Hey Dan, I've been inactive for some time so you may not remember me. I'll look up Headhunter, thank you. I'll also source the 2020 Blacklist as I don't think I have it - I have previous years. Always interesting to see what scripts got people's attention

You should check out ScriptRevolution.com Over 10,000 scripts produced and unproduced you can read for free. Great thing is if want a certain category you can search just for those. My page there is https://www.scriptrevolution.com/profiles/marven-likness

James Welday

https://www.scriptslug.com/ is my favorite resource for almost any script I want to read. I read so many, over many different genres. Of the recent, I'd recommend the pilot for Ted Lasso and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Both show off the genuine talents of the writers, and are easily digestible in a single stretch.

Adam Harper

Thanks everyone - I'm aware of Script Revolution, good idea for me to do some digging there. Ted Lasso is a good shout too - I like that kind of tone, it'll be interesting to see that conveyed on the page

"Big Fish"

Craig D Griffiths

Big Fish is a good choice.
