if you don't care for the series can we all appreciate the refinement in the english voiceover when compared to the subtitles.

It's not bad. Reminds me of films like Hostile, Battle Royale, or that "horror game" genre kind of film, but only 5 episodes in. Typical sadistic style of writing found in darker Korean films. The English VO is definitely great, and have been seeing more of this. Some of the VO's almost makes certain parts more humorous.
Compelling, tense, and very watchable despite the violence. But too long, too drawn out, and fizzles out at the end.
