I haven't won anything yet, but just to make the shortlist of actors for this is pretty darn cool! [Now someone please book me for an epic movie role :)]
I only refocussed my energy onto acting again during lockdown...I read everything and did every available acting course (affordable of course) to better myself. Landed an agent. Landed some jobs and now this! Not too bad at all.

Thx Karen "Kay" Ross - so motivating to just get that little bit of recognition.
Wow, any advice? I've never been asked that before. Probably "never stop doing" - yeah I've read and studied and watched as much as I can but nothing will beat actually "doing". Did I get the role I auditioned for? No...but I'm going to continue doing my own self-tapes/monologues and submitting myself for roles.
Did I land that acting agent? Nope...but again I'm not going to stop improving my skills, make that showreel showing off my skills and submit again.
Did I win that screenwriting competition or get a nomination or get it optioned? Nope...but I'm not going to stop doing more work on that screenplay and get feedback on how to improve it and I'm definitely not going to stop writing more stuff and I'm NOT going to stop entering it into competitions or to producers either.
That's probably the best advice I can give - "NEVER STOP DOING".
