Hello! I'm reaching out here because FD tech support was being too complicated. I'm brand new to Final Draft. Been using Movie Magic Screenwriter since 2000. But I made the switch and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to adjust the settings (or whatever) so that when I type a parenthetical ( in the middle of dialogue for the software to automatically know that (parenthetical) needs to be on a new line. I have to highlight the (parenthetical) and select "Parenthetical" from the drop down menu above every time and it's driving me nuts. This seems like it should be a pretty basic automatic setting but I can't seem to figure it out. Please help! Thank you!!!

On my Mac I simply hit command + 4 to create parentheticals on a new line. No setting adjustment needed. I'm not sure what the shortcut would be on Windows.
