2022: A Month Down

Honestly, can you even believe it? How is it FEBRUARY already? Insanity.

So, how are you? Where are you? What creative goals have you tackled in the first month of this new year? Let's hear it!

Lewis Martin Soucy

I've wrapped up my first series, halfway into a feature script, and on a new series.

Ty Strange

Finished off one screenplay, and while waiting for coverage notes on it, I circled back to another screenplay that performed well on the contest circuit last year but received some helpful coverage notes that I wanted to address.

Frank Baruch

Joined the writers room. Sent out some of my finished work to a couple of OWA's. Putting the finishing touches on a limited series. Sent a 2-page written pitch to Giovanna Desselle. Wishing everyone luck on their writing endeavors!

Hailey Escobar

I’ve been having a hard time. I went from being really busy as a script supervisor to having a lot less work in January (I am working on some writing, developing a low budget screenplay for someone, and my own work but nothing that pays a whole lot) and it has really done a number on my mental health.

Maurice Vaughan

I finished writing a feature script as part of a job/did some rewrites on it.

Maurice Vaughan

Congrats, everyone!

Maurice Vaughan

Hope things get easier, Hailey Escobar.

Michael Hultquist

Finished a script and turned it into my manager. Fingers crossed! We'll see where it goes.

John Richard Sullivan

Finishing up writing the last episode of season one of my limited sci-fi tv series, so I'm truckin' along. :-)

Angela Cristantello

Really really incredible strides, Everyone. I'm so genuinely inspired by you all :)

And Hailey, thank you so much for your honesty and vulnerability. I know that it's a tough time for a ton of us right now, and just know that we're thinking of you and rooting for you and are here for anything that you need.

Erik Meyers

I know. February! Wow where did the time go? I'm currently working on editing my first murder mystery with my literary agent to prepare for submissions to publisher. And I need to get back to reworking my thriller/horror script
