Deadline.com published an article on our streaming series that's in development. Takes a long time, but finally coming together. For anyone else out there that's not seeing the results you wanted at the pace you expected... just keep on hustling, it will pay off. #hollywoodhustle

Nice
That's fantastic news, Congratulations Nathan Mccoy! I'm not sure how much you can tell us, but how long is "it takes a long time"? I'm very used to production which moves incredibly quickly, but development is a relatively new beast to me.
Congratulations!

Karen "Kay" Ross Well it's obviously different for every production, but in this case the initial film short and story idea was created around 7 years ago, and I came on the project about 3.5 years ago. We've been adding attachments and making contacts until now. Once we were able to get representation to push the project is when we started to see a great deal of movement (pitch meetings etc...) The show is fairly ambitious so it's been a big ask to distributors. That awesome and fortunate that you've had quicker time in development.
side note: the director/producer for Yellow Rose said it took her around 15 years to complete (sporadic filming and needing to raise finishing funds at one point).
