Hey All,
Since I'm coming back here to the Stage I thought I would re-introduce myself. I had been thinking that new outlets like Netflix were probably looking for content and when I got the email about the partnership, I decided to jump on watching the videos.
So, I'm back and going to hit the keyboard again and bring back some of my ideas and refresh them.
Since my initial appearance on here I have moved from Central Indiana to North Carolina with a year off in between in Costa Rica. I'm about 40 miles east of Charlotte out in the sticks if there is any along the PeeDee River areas of High Rock, Badin and Tillery Lakes.
I have been doing television and video production for the past three and half decades and I'm back in school working on a degree in Social Media Marketing. Let's face it, there is more to this than writing, the big part is getting it out there and selling it!
I look forward to chatting with all of you.

Hi, Rodney Myers. Welcome back to the Stage. I also live in North Carolina. What projects are you working on?
Maurice - Glad to see another person from NC, what part of the Tar Heel State are you?
I have a few projects that I have been working on. The one I want to concentrate on for Netflix is a half series called The Soul Exchange. It's about a young man who is on the verge of failing in love but dies suddenly to find out there is no heaven or hell, but the original recycling plant. The show follows his misadventures of learning how to collect souls and granting last wishes before they got back to the exchange to be processed and implanted into new lives.
I have a feature script that is Christmas Holiday themed that would be a great target for the Hallmark Channel. Plus, I have some other TV Series ideas.
Finally, I'm an avid motorcyclist, and I have collected a lot of my riding stories over the past several years, so I have been collecting into a book. I wrap them in the theme that you should find joy in everything you do, the working title is Joy is in Every JOurneY.
Wow, that sounds like a lot!
How about you?
Rodney

Thanks Maurice. It's also the project that is the most personal and I'm the most passionate about.
Speaking of, it's sunny, mid 60's, looks like a good day to hit the road!
You're welcome, Rodney Myers. It's sunny here too. Have a great day and a great day of writing.
