Tv Series Idea Pitching Advice

Hello all!

I am looking for advice on how to break more in to the industry on the grounds of pitching my Tv show and movie ideas. Where can I send them into? How can I get them in front of more people and production companies? Or find other screenwriters looking to collaborate who might have connections? I have made quite a few pitch decks and have submitted to the pitch contests that are currently out there. I'm more interested in getting the idea in front of producers and selling it. I am not looking to be the writer but the creator, actor or producer of the show.

Thank you!

Sounds like you are ready to take the next step and start pitching directly. Work you're way through the listings and see who's looking for what you've got. Then you can start the process of making connections and moving forward.

Look at the producers offering pitch sessions under the Script Services menu. Their backgrounds are listed, so you can pitch to people actually looking for the genre that your pitching. Good luck!

Donnalyn Vojta Thank you for the advice! I do look at the pitch sessions but you have to have a completed script. I am not looking to be the writer for the tv series, so that is where I am having trouble finding a way to get my pitches out there.
