Introduce Yourself : Susan o wade by Susan O. Wade

Hello Writers,

In introduction: First, kudos to all of you for your talents, passion and resilience. You inspire.

I’ve been an ocean policy professional for years - now retired with time and the inspiration to clean up and market my one and only spec script.

I learned the origin story of my protagonist Grace OMalley at my grandfather OMalley’s knee and subsequently learned the facts of my 16th century great aunt’s history. I’ve since traveled to Connaught province in Ireland and researched through fact, fiction, myth and mystery to arrive at a 115 page, four act feature drama-biopic.

With few ties to the industry, Stage32 is my main mentor. Though I’ve been a “lurker” learner for a few years, I’m hoping now to tap deeper into S32’s guidance and opportunities by starting work on a solid pitch.

Meantime, I welcome comments, questions and suggestions and though a spec myself, offer whatever I may contribute.
