I wanted to find out what everyone is expecting for the 2022 TV pitching season, and also suggest a few of my own ideas. There have been some big changes over the past year with ad supported streaming growing and the Discovery WarnerMedia merger. So what will networks and streamers be looking for this year? Here are my ideas: https://www.filmtvlaw.com/blog/2022/3/15/what-to-expect-for-2022-tv-pitching-season

I'm not sure I knew there was a "pitch season". When is that?

Karen, Pitching season is the traditional time to start approaching networks and streamers about new TV series concepts. It happens right after the Upfronts, which is where the networks and streamers try to sell out their advertising to sponsors for the upcoming year based on their new series. So when that is over, pitching starts for the next year's shows. Take a look at the article, as I provide a lot more details, and have other articles on my website at www.filmtvlaw.com.
