Filmmakers are thrilled to get a film made, and lucky enough to get it distributed . That is a huge success for all the efforts by your entire team. The journey must continue along with encouragement from everyone on your team to continue to promote it as you have to be your own biggest supporter as awareness will thrive and more people will take notice of your project. It takes time but it is well worth it!!!

Yup yup. I think my checks came 6-9 months after the movies sold & distributed... then the phone calls came from cast & crew looking for their bread :)
