Introduce Yourself : Producer and Screenwriter by Donald Thompson

Greetings from Maryland USA!  I've been an indie producer for 20+ years with a more recent focus on screenwriting (since 2017). Stage 32 has been a real boon to me and has provided some great opportunities. My recent scripts have received some awards attention (you can read more on my Stage 32 bio and IMDb here: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0860070/) I'm really proud to have been involved with some great films as a producer, including several that have screened at major festivals. My recent screenplays are aimed (mostly) at a higher budget level.  I love to adapt screenplays from books (including the public domain) and it's been a real pleasure (and challenge) to emulate the varied worlds of different novels and non-fiction works -- ranging from modern dramedy to historical action, war stories, faith-based, etc.  Anyone seeking to adapt a book to a film feel free to reach out... :)) Thanks again to Stage 32 for creating such a fantastic platform for filmmakers and screenwriters.
