The Simpsons are what led me to Animation as a career, there's a special I saw about Matt Groening called 'My Wasted Life' , and he goes on about creating the show based on what he liked as a kid ....and it was just a moment of 'this is me, this is what I do', I watch shows, and movies and read comics for research .... I had a podcast about The Simpsons, and a lot of my creative choices are inspired by The Simpsons .... I don't think that show will ever know how much it has meant to me as an artist. The line that has forever stuck with me from Matt Groening , somebody told him he was wasting his life and his response was "It's not a wasted life, it's all research" .
