Hello All - I always seem to miss these introduce yourself weekends, but I'm glad to be doing it now. I'm an actress-writer, who seems to be writing the types of movies and roles I'd like to act in. Strong female leads that are multi-dimensional and a little contradictory. Would love to find an agent interested in representing both of these aspects - the actor and the writer. Welcome, Rosalie! I, too, am an actor/writer. Though right now I only write to create my own opportunities. I haven't been too interested in just selling scripts, which is one reason I haven't pursued a lit manager. To that effect, I self-financed a comedy pilot that we shot last year. We're now in the festival stage and looking for other avenues to move the project forward. Best of luck to you!

Hey Rosalie... welcome to the platform. Sounds like you are hyper-focused on the goal to create opportunities for yourself. And Matthew -- good for you to be self financing your own projects and getting your stuff made. If the festivals don't work out I encourage you to send your pilot to literary managers because you never know who is looking and final produced work is also key!
