Hello to every person on this platform.
I am an author of thriller and sci-fi novels, which I self-publish. I studied screenwriting at university, decades ago, and worked briefly as a corporate video writer/director in the late 90s. I created a pilot episode of my first book recently and it reminded me how much I used to enjoy writing scripts, even if they were promotional videos about country parks or training films for banks! I consider myself primarily to be a writer but I did have great fun directing the corporate videos back then too; working with a small crew to take a project from start to finish.
I am enjoying writing more than ever before and learning to do it better (hopefully) with every project. I am delighted to be part of this amazing community and hope to connect with as many of you as possible. I wish everybody the greatest success in their fields and with their own projects. Thank you for the welcome! Enjoying writing is making it better in every way for me. I am now more focused as well, which helps as I get to grips with the many facets of marketing and promotion, which is not in my comfort zone!
