What's the best way you've found to keep track of queries you've sent out and methods of following up? The one Query Tracker I've found is for manuscripts. I'm an old school spreadsheet creator out of habit but I'm guessing there are much better ways.

We have a system to track: what we've sent, to whom, date of first submission, date of last contact, status and notes that detail how the interaction has gone, how its going and what needs doing next. Can't beat a good spreadsheet as a one-stop-shop to keep track of all this. Getting into the habit of regularly reading this is a good way to prompt follow-ups if needed.
Ewan Dunbar Thanks - I agree. My spreadsheets look quite similar to that. I was just wondering if there is a "Query Tracker" for scripts like there is for manuscripts.

I second Ewan. When i was an assistant this kind of excel doc was a LIFESAVER. And we usually kept the first column for “date of last interaction” so you could then make sure the ones from the longest time ago were prioritized at the top.
MB Stevens , @EmilyJ Well, I don't feel so old school anymore! haha I thought I was probably really behind the times but Excel is my "go to". I love it and use it for so many things, so I guess I'll just keep doing that! Thanks all for your answers.
