Introduce Yourself : At The Mercy Of Faith - Terror Version and At The Mercy Of Faith - Alternative Horror. by Samuel Taylor

Hello everyone. I am Samuel L Taylor - screenwriter.

This is my first post. But, I received such encouraging and inspiring news today that after me first shouting out HALLELUJAH! Praise the Lord!!!! I decided to share my excitement with my Stage 32 members.

So, I RELUCTANTLY submitted my screenplays At The Mercy Of Faith - Terror Version and At The Mercy Of Faith - Alternative Horror to the Near Nazareth Festival in ISREAL and in addition, I submitted both versions to the Monkey Bread Tree Festival in London.

I use the word reluctantly because my screenplays are an African American, faith-base/horror story.

Usually movies with a predominant black cast and then you throw in the faith-base/horror genre into the mix....does not fare well internationally. You are surely asking for your script to NOT be SELECTED!!

Well, I am thrilled to announce that the NNF selected my Alternative Horror version as a Semifinalist, while the Terror Version is a Finalist and still in contention for an Award.

The Monkey Bread Tree Festival selected both versions as well and the Terror Version is in contention for an Award!

For me, the selection of my scripts into these international festival is a testament that no matter your race, creed, background or etc....if you write a story that has a strong and provocative plot, that can inspire, educate, and motivate.... people will embrace and support your story as well as your journey!!!
