First and foremost I'm doing my best to get an acting career going, with some moderate success. But over the years I've written 3 books: a middle reader horror novel and 2 books in a planned trilogy about a disgraced professional boxer. All still unpublished but close a couple of times.
I've recently been working with an independent producer/director on several festival shorts; also a full length film, currently in editing. I've been the lead in all of them. Somehow, based on my comments, I wound up rewriting 2 of the shorts scripts as well as the entire film script. This gave me the idea to write a script based on my 1st boxer novel. I entered it in one of Stage 32's contests and was a semi-finalist. I received great feedback and encouragement as to producers liking and filming it. Then I got writers block and apathy and did nothing. I guess this is a long-winded way of saying the November idea has got my juices running again, and I now intend to have a fully revised script by the end of November.
Hope I didn't bore anyone with this.

Nope. Wasn't bored. The journeys we take as Writers can often be as or more interesting than the works themselves.
